cyberDOC is the Electronic Document Archive of Austria's civil law notaries. This electronic archive is unique in Europe and offers clients a maximum of security.
According to the Notarial Code, civil law notaries are obliged under the law to record and store all notarial deeds set up after 1 January 2000 in the electronic document archive. All notarial deeds drafted since 1 January 2000 are therefore entered in the new Electronic Document Archive of Austrian notaries.cyberDOC and the existing IT infrastructure of 476 notaries in a closed user group enable
- government to outsource and
- civil law notaries to take over public tasks
- savings potentials for staff and material costs to be harnessed
- cooperation with government ministries such as the Federal Ministry of Finance or the Federal Ministry of Justice.
cyberDOC is a joint venture of Austrian civil law notaries and Siemens AG Österreich who provided state-of-the-art technological know-how as well as Austria's most modern industrial data centre.
