Uwe Kirschner Research Institute

The Austrian Chamber of Civil Law Notaries has set up the Uwe Kirschner Research Institute to promote research into the development of tomorrow's professional profile of the civil law notary as public certifying officer and law expert who engages in the preventive administration of the law at the national, European and international levels.

The Research Institute:

  • conducts research into new fields of activity for civil law notaries and acts as a think tank;
  • develops service products offered by civil law notaries within the scope of their statutory powers,
  • develops and practically implements specific projects, involving external experts,
  • develops training programmes in cooperation with the Austrian Notarial Academy,
  • pools the development activities of the institutions of the Austrian body of civil law notaries.
